I have an iPhone 3G 3.1.2 Jailbroken and iTunes 9.0.2 and Windows Vista Home Premium x64.
In a few weeks ago, I read in some sites that Jailbroken iPhone users must change their root password because of a virus. So I installed mobile terminal from Cydia and I changed the root password from alpine to another one and then I removed Mobile terminal.
Two days later, I tried to open Cydia but it crashed while loading data at startup. I rebooted my iPhone, but still the same problem.
I searched for the solution in some forums and websites, and I know how to fix it. But I need to SHH my iPhone and I don't have OpenSSH installed on Cydia to use WinSCP and access the root directory and I can't install it because Cydia is still crashing.
I know that there's a lot of programs that can SHH my iPhone but there are not working because of the root password that should be 'alpine' and there's no way to change it back.
For example 'DiskAid' is saying that I can't access the root directory because I don't have Jailbroken iPhone, same thing for iPhone browser and many other programs.
So, there's only two solutions for that :
- Install Mobile Terminal without Cydia or SHH, so I can change my root password to default and I can access the root directory of my iPhone with iPhone DiskAid..
- Install OpenSSH without Cydia or SHH, so I can directly fix my Cydia problem and Install mobile terminal from Cydia and change the root password to default.
I have no idea how can install mobile terminal or OpenSHH without Cydia or SSH, but maybe you can help if you know how or you have another solution ?
P.S: Don't want to restore my iPhone and jailbreak it again.

Here is the latest progress: I decompilate the APP and find it used these third-party library files: libobjc.A.dylib, libSystem.B.dylib and libcucore.A.dylib, these library files are used for jailbreak. So I guess it may use some system hole to do this. So you are all right, you can only read but cannot modify the system files without jailbreak.
